This Is It!

This Is It!

Michael Joseph Jackson was a complex but simple man, one who was detached from fame, although he was famous. I remember first seeing him on television with his sister Janet, when they had their variety show. However, I was young then and since secular music wasn’t allowed in our household, I didn’t know about him. When I was fourteen I remember going to a house party a friend was having, he took out a record and began to play it. The record was Off The Wall by Michael Jackson, I remember dancing and having fun. However, my friends were avid fans of this singer named Michael Jackson and I mean they were die hard fans. They wore his style of clothing, knew all of the songs, knew his dance moves, and wore their hair like his. While I did not go as far as them, I did have a Thriller jacket. My favorite song by Michael Jackson was and is: You Wanna Be Starting Something, all I have to do is hear the beat and I am in my own world.

Around 1994 I really began to study Michael Jackson and his soul. I really began to listen to the lyrics of his songs. They were vibrating a level of awareness and light, that some were not ready for. I then began to pay attention to his presence and how his energy would cause people to just pass out or feel they had to see him. Some of them didn’t even care about touching him, they just wanted to see him and be in his presence. He could command an audience far greater then the Pope, Dalai Lama or President Obama. A person walking with that height of vibration is not normal. Maybe that explains why Michael Jackson appeared to be peculiar to some. He would often speak about how he didn’t like all of the attention. In reality he was seeking an escape from what had become his earthly reality.

Michael Jackson and his siblings have spoken about the abuse they suffered as children at the hands of their father. Though it may have pushed them to be the stars they became, it also affected them, in particular Michael. Due to mental and physical abuse, he could never see the beauty that he was. He tried to find a place of escape in cosmetic surgery, prescription drugs and Never Land. Not realizing that you can not escape from yourself. You are all that you have until you are no more, which is never, because life is eternal. Each album cover Michael Jackson took on a new image, his nose got tinier, his complexion got lighter and his hair got straighter. However, he was still Michael Jackson, and like every human being, he had his own demons to fight against.

Children are sponges; they soak up everything around them, because they are sensitive to information. For example children are honest, because they have pure hearts. They can tell us things about ourselves that may make us uncomfortable, but when we think about it, it is sometimes what we need to hear. Children are shaped by their family, community and society. Each word they hear subconsciously seeps into their memory bank. This is why we have to speak life and love to children and not just children but everyone. I encourage everyone to pay attention to how children are behaving. They will usually show signs of struggles and problems, which then need to be addressed. If they are left unaddressed they may grow into behaviors that are detrimental.

Healing Beyond the Pain

As I look within and around me, I see a society that is sick. Not just sick with physical ailments, but sick in mind and in spirit. There are people so comfortable and happy with misery, that they want to make those around them just as miserable or more miserable then they are. Ever heard the phrase: "Misery loves company". Well, it is true, but one defense against a miserable person is to ignore them or just give them the hand,or finger which ever makes you feel good.. In reality those miserable people keep balance in the Universe, and they deserve love also, no matter how hard that may be.

Yeah, let's talk about love. Many people give more love to things outside of themselves, including miserable people. However, the greatest love of all is learning to love one self, (thank you George Benson for that wisdom.) The word "love" is thrown around so much, that its value is not perceived as it should. People can carelessly, sometimes within a lying breath say "I love you" to a person even though it is not a truth. What is love? It is a high vibration that resonates with God, and it is this vibration that you selflessly, freely, and unconditionally share this vibration. My favorite Bible verse has always been: "God is Love". it is so simple and plain, straight to the point. 'God is Love" and "Love is God".

But, I have a question for you. Do you love yourself? I want you to honestly look within and ask yourself, that question. When a person has love for themselves, they will not settle for less than what they are worth. This is in relationships, careers, business, and any other part of society. Loving oneself may come easy for some, but for others it is not as easy. But, then again some of those who think it comes easy, are really living in conceit and being superficial. Real love will test you whether it is for yourself or for someone else. Real love will not allow you to be used, abused and taken advantage of by anyone, including yourself. I encourage everyone to begin to love yourself unconditionally. No matter what hand life has dealt you. No matter what experiences you have gone through in life. Just know that you have the power to love yourself beyond the pain, to love yourself unconditionally.

We have to begin to stop seeking love outside of ourselves. If your father or mother abandoned you, so what you have God to take care for you. If your lover, husband or wife left you, so what take time to learn the lessons that were meant for you to learn and move on. You used to be a .............., who gives a darn. now use the fact that you are a survivor and assist someone else through that phase of life.

There are many prophets and characters in books that I relate to, the one that gets the most kudos from me is Yahshua the Christ (Immanuel). His character is so radical. There is a lot that can be learned from him, if only we would put on our decoding glasses and see through the codes. He first starts out as a child born out of wedlock, then he is raised by his mother and step father and has half brothers. Then at 12 he is in Egypt studying, in synagogues, checking religious scholars and leaders. He teaches that we each have the ability to perform miracles even greater then what he performed. However, more than any of that I respect that he honored women and assisted them in healing beyond their pain. He had the compassion to make a woman who was a sacred prostitute, realize her potential and her worth, which was above rubies and diamonds.

Christ means the anointed one and their anointing. Are you anointed? Are you appointed? Are you living up to your Christ potential? There is nothing outside of yourself. All that you need is within you. You just have to call it forth and bring it into manifestation. Healing beyond your pain takes focus, intention and faith in yourself and that higher power of I Am. It is time for us as a people to heal beyond our pains. For once we do that, then we can assist others in healing beyond their pain.
